The Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) Chaplaincy program is first dedicated to supporting the overall well-being of every WCSO staff member and their families. Staff and volunteer chaplains are also prepared to respond at any time—24/7, 365—to critical incidents and offer emotional and moral support, as well as various practical resources, to members of the community who are in crisis and suffering from a traumatic event. Finally, staff and volunteer chaplains will provide approved religious services, as requested and when appropriate, to adults in custody at the jail.
