Project Lifesaver

Does your loved one tend to wander? Wandering is common behavior among those individuals with cognitive conditions.

The Project Lifesaver program is great tool Washington County Deputies can use to help find and rescue your loved ones. Project Lifesaver provides an added layer of protection and peace of mind that your loved one will be located.

There are costs associated with operating and participating in the Project Lifesaver Program. Project Lifesaver participants receive a bracelet containing a waterproof radio transmitter and battery.

The WCSO Foundation uses the generous donations of community members to help provide these much-needed bracelets to families who would otherwise not be able to afford it. If you would like to help, please consider a donation to the Sheriff’s Office Foundation.

If you would like more information on how to enroll someone in the Project Lifesaver program, please contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office directly at 503-846-6048 or online, here.
